Balance is due on or before July 3, 2009. Any booking after July 4, 2009 is subject to availability plus late fee penalty will apply.
Rates shown reflect discount for payment made by check. You may make your final payment with your credit card but 4% additional processing fee will apply. Fuel surcharges are subject to change up to 25 days prior to departure date. Non USA citizens must obtain visa before their departure.

All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect March 2009 and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices surcharges, airport taxes and security surcharges, and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.

Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to the terms and conditions herewith. Balance is due 90 days before departure date. If you cancel, the following cancellation charges per person will apply: 120 days or more before departure date $25 pp; 119-91 days or more before departure $250pp; 90-61 days prior to departure date $1,000pp; 60-31 days prior to departure date $1,500pp; 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund.

ROME/ASSISI

Arrive Rome in the morning where we will be welcomed by our tour escort and motor coach driver. We drive to Assisi. After checking into our hotel and rest, we begin to explore the hilltop birthplace of St. Francis. In the crypt of St. Francis Basilica lies the tomb of one of the most beloved saints of all time. We visit the Basilica of St. Clare, the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and the Porziuncola, located on the lower plains of Assisi.

ASSISI/LANCIANO/SAN GIOVANNI

Today we motor south along the Adriatic Sea to Lanciano. The holy miracle resides in the Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle near the Piazza Plebiscito (the main square of Lanciano, where the Cathedral is located). Continue to San Giovanni Rotondo.

SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO/ROME

This morning we see the places associated with Saint Pio. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace that houses the tomb of Saint Pio, unless the church decides to postpone the burial. In this case, you will see the body of Padre Pio). See Padre Pio’s confessional and the Crucifix from which Padre Pio received the stigmata. In the afternoon, we drive back to Rome.

CANONIZATION CELEBRATION/ROME

Transfer to the Vatican City to join pilgrims from all over the world and celebrate with them the canonization of our beloved Father Damien de Veuster. After the canonization, we will visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the crypt of Pope John Paul II and the remainder of the afternoon, we will have time at leisure on our own to explore the places around the Vatican City and do some shopping before returning to our hotel.

ROME/BASILICAS/VATICAN MUSEUM

We will spend all day in Rome visiting the major Basilicas including the Basilica of St. Mary Major, St. John in Lateran and the Holy Stairs. Then the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel to enjoy the works of Michelangelo.

IMPERIAL ROME/CATACOMBS

Today we drive to the Appian Way to the catacombs of St. Callistus, where early Christians hid to pray during the persecution and then the Basilica of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls. We will have a panoramic tour of Rome passing by the Forum, the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps and the many attractions and fountains, before returning to our hotel.

This morning we depart Rome and drive towards Florence. Our tour of Florence will include the magnificent Maria Del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery, the heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise” and sculpture studded Signoria Square. Time at leisure to browse in the city before going to our hotel.

We continue our drive in Italy, arriving Pisa where we stop to see the Leaning Tower and the adjacent church and beautiful building. Then we continue to Nice on the Mediterranean Sea.

NICE/LOURDES

Depart Nice this morning and drive towards Lourdes, enjoying the beautiful countryside of France. Arrive Lourdes in the afternoon. After dinner, we join pilgrims from around the world in the nightly Rosary and Candlelight Procession.

LOURDES

During our stay in Lourdes, we will visit the historical and spiritual sites associated with Bernadette, the visionary child of Lourdes. We will take a walking tour of the Shrine, the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world’s largest underground church. Visit Boly Mill, the Soubirous family home and the Basilica of the Rosary. We may walk the Way of the Cross and spend time in prayers and meditation at the Shrine. After dinner, we will join pilgrims in the nightly Rosary and Candlelight Procession.

LOURDES/MONTSERRAT/BARCELONA

This morning we say good bye to Our Lady of Lourdes and drive towards Spain. We stop in Montserrat to visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat and the Monastery and see the Statue of Our Lady and the cave where the tradition says the statue was found. Continue to Barcelona for a panoramic tour including the Basilica of the Holy Family.

BARCELONA/MADRID

We continue our drive in Spain and drive towards Madrid, the capital. We will enjoy a panoramic city tour passing by Calle de San Bernardo, Plaza de Espana with its monument to Don Quijote, calle Princesa, the Ciudad Universitaria, Casa de Campo, the Royal Plaza and Garden as well as Puerta del Sol and Puerta de Alcala.

MADRID/AVILA/FATIMA

We depart Madrid on our way to Fatima. We stop in Avila, a city enclosed by high walls, which date from the middle ages. This is the city of St. Theresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Arrive Fatima in the afternoon and after dinner, we join pilgrims in the nightly Rosary and Candlelight Procession.

FATIMA

We will spend all day in Fatima, visiting the Shrine’s grounds, the Basilica with the tombs of Francisco and Jacinta. Then to Aljustrel and Valinhos to see the homes of the little shepherds and site of the first and third visit of the “Angel of Peace”. If time permits, we visit Santarem and the Eucharistic Miracle. After dinner, we join in the Rosary and Candlelight Procession.
