DEPOSIT AND BOOKING
A deposit of $350 plus $185 Insurance (Optional) payable to Adriatic Pilgrimage is required per person at the time of booking, but not later than May 5, 2009. Balance is due on or before July 6, 2009. Any booking after July 7, 2009 is subject to availability plus additional late fee penalty will apply.
Rates shown reflects discount for payment made by check.
You may make your final payment with your credit card but 4% additional processing fee will apply.
Please note: The airlines are now adding fuel surcharges to their taxes.
Additional fuel surcharges are subject to change up to 25 days prior to departure date.
Non USA citizens must obtain visa before their departure.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All prices quoted in this flyer are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect December 2008 and on group rates of 32-42 passengers. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.
Please complete the booking form with full names as they appear on passports, and mail it to us with your deposit of $350.00 plus $271 (optional) Insurance. Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to the terms and conditions herewith. Balance is due 90 days before departure date. If you cancel, the following cancellation charges will apply:

* 120 days prior to departure $25 pp;
* 119-91 days before departure $250 pp;
* 90-61 days prior to departure date $1,000 pp;
* 60-31 days prior to departure date $1,500 pp;
* 30-1 day prior to departure date or no show – No Refund

* Pilgrims are responsible for ensuring that their passports are in order and for securing any Visas Necessary.

TEL AVIV/NETANYA

Arrive Tel Aviv airport in the morning where we will be welcomed to the Holy Land by our tour guide and motor coach driver. We will celebrate Holy Mass and then transfer to our hotel in the coastal town of Netanya for dinner and overnight.

CAESAREA/HAIFA/MOUNT CARMEL/CANA/NAZARETH

This morning we depart to Caesarea with its Roman temple, royal palace, amphitheater, public buildings and the aqueduct. Continue to Haifa and Mount Carmel to visit Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery and Elijah’s Cave. We stop in Cana, where Jesus performed His first public miracle. Then to Nazareth where we visit the Church of the Annunciation, Holy Grotto and the Church of St. Joseph.

SEPPHORIS/GALILEE/CAPERNAUM/MOUNT BEATITUDES/TABGHA/RIVER JORDAN

Today we explore the sites around the Galilee region. First we stop in Sepphoris. This was the largest city in Galilee at the time of Jesus. Then to Capernaum where Jesus preached in the Synagogue, St. Peter’s House, Mount of Beatitudes and Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves of bread and fish; and the baptismal site at the River Jordan.

MOUNT TABOR/MEGIDDO/JERUSALEM

This morning we depart the Galilee region and drive towards Jerusalem. We stop on Mount Tabor, the traditional site of Jesus’ transfiguration. There we celebrate Mass. Then on to Megiddo to see the archaeological site and later continue to our hotel in Jerusalem.

MOUNT OF OLIVES/GETHSEMANE/BETHLEHEM/EIN KAREM

We start our day with the Mount of Olives, the Church of Pater Noster, down to Dominus Flevit and St. Mary Magdalene Church. Pray at the Garden Tomb of Gethsemane and on to Bethlehem for Holy Mass and later visit the Church of the Nativity, the Holy Manger and the Basilica of St. Catherine. Then we stop at the Catholic orphanage of the Sisters of Charity and share our faith with the little children and the nuns. On the way back we stop in Ein Karem to visit the Church of the Visitation.

OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM/MOUNT ZION

Early morning transfer to the Old City to have our own procession of “Way of the Cross” ending with Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After Mass we return to our hotel for breakfast and later, return to the Old City to visit the Church of St. Anne, the Pools of Bethesda and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Later, we walk through the Cardo to the Western Wall (Wailing Wall). On Mount Zion, we visit the Room of the Last Supper, the House of Caiaphas and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.

BETHANY/JERICHO/DEAD SEA/QUMRAN/MASADA

We depart Jerusalem and stop in Bethany, known as the place where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. As we continue through the Judean Desert, we arrive Jericho to see the excavations and Mount of Temptation. Continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. We drive to Masada, the ancient mountaintop fortress which was the final outpost of the Zealot Jews in their rebellion against the Roman authority. On our way back to Jerusalem, we stop by the Dead Sea to feel the warm and salty water of the Sea.

EMMAUS/JERUSALEM

In the morning, we visit Emmaus to visit the Franciscan Basilica, built on the traditional site where Jesus met Cleophas and Simon after His Resurrection and ate with them. The Franciscans built a church on the spot where Cleophas’ house was believed to have stood. Return to Jerusalem. The rest of the day at leisure for personal activities and shopping.

Day at leisure in Jerusalem for personal visit, shopping and we recommend visiting the underground excavations in the Old City.
