General Information, Terms and Conditions

PRICES IN THIS BROCHURE AND RELATED FLYERS
All prices quoted in this brochure and any other additional packages are quoted in U.S. Dollars, and based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing and on group rates of 32 passengers or more. Some tours may depart with less than the required number of passengers, at the discretion of Adriatic Tours. Additional surcharge may apply. All prices including airfare may change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, fuel prices, additional taxes and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.

RESERVATION, DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS
Once you have chosen an itinerary and departure date, please complete the booking form, with full name (as it appears on passport), mailing address and telephone number and mail it to us with your deposit of $350.00 per person plus insurance (optional). Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to the terms and conditions herewith. Balance is due 75 days before departure date. If a booking is made within 75 days of departure, full payment is due plus insurance and applicable taxes. Credit cards: Prices are based on cash payments. Credit cards may be accepted for final payment as a convenience to our customers (deposits must be made by check), but a 4% bank fee may apply (void where prohibited by law). If final payment is made by credit card (AMEX, VISA, MC and Discover), Adriatic Tours requires a completion of authorization form with your signature, accompanied with copies of front and back of the card.
Airport taxes, security fees, fuel surcharges and International departure tax are not included in the price of Adriatic Pilgrimages and Tours. Taxes depend on city, routing and destination and may vary between $125-$350 per ticket.

PASSPORTS, TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & VISAS
A valid US passport is required for travel to US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport, please apply for one at the passport office in your city. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after return date. Most countries do not require US citizens to obtain visas. However, when and if a visa is required, it is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain one. Non US citizens, please consult with your embassy or consulate for visa requirements. Adriatic Tours assumes no responsibility for passport or visa requirements.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation is based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with private bath or shower. A single room may be provided, if available, at an additional supplement listed for each tour. While single rooms provide privacy, they are often smaller than twin bedrooms. In addition, rooms are assigned upon arrival based on current availability and may vary in size, amenities and location. If a passenger is traveling without a companion, Adriatic Tours will do its best to find a same-sex roommate. If Adriatic Tours is unable to assign a roommate, then the passenger will be solely responsible for the cost of the single supplement. Adriatic Tours reserves the right to substitute similar category hotels without prior notice. Triple rooms are available for family or friends traveling together, but there are no discounts for using triple rooms.

MEALS
All our tours include daily breakfast and dinner. Meals are usually served at the hotel. Dinner may be served at a local restaurant too. On Greek Islands cruises, all meals are included i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beverages are not included with dinners. Although we cannot guarantee special meal requests, Adriatic Tours will try to accommodate each special meal request on flights as well as hotels.

TRANSFERS
Our programs include group round-trip transfers plus meeting and assistance by our local representatives. Passengers who purchase “land only” package are responsible for their transfers at their own expense.

SIGHTSEEING
Ground transportation is provided by air conditioned motor coach, trains and other conveyance as specified in the package description. Our programs offer complete sightseeing packages. During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums, palaces, restaurants, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited or not available. Shore excursions on the Greek Islands cruise could be purchased prior to tour’s departure. Smoking is not allowed on motor coaches.

AIRLINE SEATING
There is no advance seat selection for groups on most airlines. Early check-in is necessary to secure seats with travel companions and those with special needs. Due to security measures taken at airports, it is advisable to arrive at the airport three hours prior to departure time. Seating is solely under control of the airlines.

FINAL DOCUMENTS AND TICKETS
All documents and tickets are issued upon receipt of final payment only and are mailed about 3 weeks prior to departure date. Tickets and final documents are not guaranteed if final payment and booking form are not received on time. Upon receipt of your documents and tickets, you are responsible to check your itinerary, spelling of your name on tickets, dates, times and other important information to ensure that they are all correct. In case your final documents have any errors in spelling names, departure city and date, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact Adriatic Tours immediately.
