National Park Paklenica - Velebit Mountai
Take only fotographs, leave only footprints. Diversity of landscapes make Croatia a magnificent country for all outdoors enthusiasts. Those who love hiking, walking, trekking or backpacking and experience this country usually wonder – how come a land with paths like these is so unknown?

National Park North Velebit - Premuzic Path
In a way the country is like Ninotchka in that great old movie with Greta Garbo and Bela Lugosi: young and beautiful, lovely and modest, but not aware of that because she was raised in a strange political environment.
The impressive Dinara mountain chain outlines the Croatian coast. Velebit is the largest mountain, a nature park with incredible variety of plants, forests, canyons, rocks and caves that lure the hikers, climbers and underground explorers. Ucka in Istria and the neighborhood Gorski Kotar mountains and forest region are another favorite for backpackers and outdoor fans. Three national parks – Plitvice Lakes, Risnjak and Paklenica – are in the mountains. Hiking on islands is very special.
